Willett Pot Still Reserve Review

This bottle tends to stand out due to its still shaped bottle and its prevalence at most liquor stores. It’s a NAS KBD expression bottled at 47% ABV.

Nose: Exceptionally fruity up front: strawberry, black cherry, green apple, grape juice. Freshly sawn oak adds a little complexity in there.

Palate: Banana taffy and toffee turning salty and oaky over time with some floral undertones.

Finish: Dry and oak laden with a bit of pepper and spices

Rating: 86/100 – Impressive for a budge NAS offering – if you don’t like fruity/sweet bourbons, you probably won’t care for this one as much/

Value for the money: These are priced around $40 retail which I think is a fair price and would recommend it as a good intro bourbon.
