Sazerac 6 Rye Review

This is a 6 year rye commonly referred to as Baby Saz with the Sazerac 18 being considered it’s older brother. It’s bottled at 45% ABV.

Nose:  Bright, sweet and spicy rye with young oak. A hint of acetone lingers in the background.

Palate: Nice blend of oak and rye – quite spicy with a big dose of cinnamon.

Finish: Rye lingers for a long time with anise and pepper.

Rating: 85/100 – A great young rye that makes for an easy drinker.

Value for the money: I usually see these at $35 or so which makes it one of the best buys in rye for me.
