Littlemill 22 (Berry’s Cask #17) Review

This is a 22 year Littlemill that was bottled by Berry’s at 54.3% ABV.

Nose: Strange nose – very floral at first with salty seawatter and berries following. Quite a bit of isopropyl follows unfortunately.

Palate: Berries, salty malt, leathery, but then that isopropyl note appears again.

Finish: Very dry and short with a lot of mint and hint of isopropyl lingering.

Rating: 76/100 – Couldn’t get past that isopropyl note – very distracting. Might be time to revisit to see if that has mellowed out.

Value for the money: This was priced fairly at $125 considering Littlemill was dismantled in 1996 and it’s 22 years. However, I would not purchase again based on the quality of the malt.
