Laphroaig 17 (Signatory Vintage Cask 3354) Review

This is a Signatory Vintage 17 year old Laphroaig bottled at 54.5% ABV selected by Binny’s.

Nose: Fruity for a Laphroaig, standard peat/medicinal notes with a bit of tart cherry.

Palate: Peat with some fruit notes and a bit of smoke – pretty standard here again.

Finish: Mostly peat with a bit of the oak peeking through.

Rating: 84/100 – Standard teenage Laphroaig – didn’t stand out in any one category.

Value for the money: These go for around $130 which is a bit steep – would rather buy the Laphroaig 18 OB for $30 less.
