This is part of the Glenmorange core range of expressions. It’s an 18 year malt that spends the last 3 years in an Oloroso cask before being bottled at 43% ABV.
Nose: Intoxicating malt layered with smoke, strawberries, peaches, subtle sherry, and perfect amount of rich oak in the mix. This nose is prime Glenmorangie.
Palate: Very sweet – strikes me as similar to a peach wine cooler almost. Crisp white wine notes with spiced malt and oak.
Finish: Mostly malt with a little smoke and dry sherry.
Rating: 91/100 – About as good as it gets for me for the Glenmorangie core range.
Value for the money: I see these range from $80-$120, and it’s a good buy for that price.
